A dimmable ST64 squirrel cage LED filament bulb in amber glass, made to be seen in open pendants, cages and wall lights. Choose 4W (450 lm, 2700K warm white) for a soft glow or 8W (800 lm, 2700K Warm White) to replace an old 60W bulb. E27 screw cap, 64 x 138 mm, CRI 90+, rated 25,000 hours. Use an LED trailing-edge dimmer. Indoor, dry locations only.

Installation & Safety

Switch off and isolate the electrical supply before replacing a bulb. Allow the existing bulb to cool before removal and ensure the selected bulb is suitable for the fitting's voltage and wattage requirements.

If using a dimmer, confirm that the bulb and dimmer are compatible. For electrical installations or modifications, use a suitably qualified electrician where required.

Will it fit?

Fits any E27 (ES) screw lamp holder: pendants, cage fittings, table and floor lamps, wall lights. It will not fit B22 bayonet or E14 small-screw holders. It's 138 mm long, so check that the bulb doesn't stick out below a short shade, and use a shade opening wider than 80 mm. For dimming, use an LED-compatible trailing-edge dimmer. Questions about this bulb

1. Will this bulb fit my light?

It fits E27 (Edison Screw, ES) holders, the kind where the bulb screws in. If your old bulb has two small pins on the side, you have B22 and need our B22 version of this bulb instead.

2. How bright is it?

The 4W gives 450 lumens, a soft glow for pendants and mood lighting rather than a main task light. The 8W gives 800 lumens, close to the 806 lumens an old 60W bulb produced. For a brighter room, use two bulbs or a multi-light fitting.

3. Can I dim it?

Yes, all three wattages are dimmable. Use an LED-compatible trailing-edge dimmer. If the bulb flickers at low levels, the total LED load may be below your dimmer's minimum; check the dimmer's label.

4. What colour is the light?

Warm white throughout. The 4W and 6W are 2700K, similar to a traditional bulb. The 8W is also 2700K Warm White, slightly richer thanks to the higher output. The amber glass adds to the vintage look.

5. Can I use it in a bathroom or outside?

No. It's rated IP20, which means indoor, dry areas only.

6. How long does it last?

It's rated for 25,000 hours, which is over 20 years at three hours a day.

7. Is there a multipack?
